Ann as an Author

There are currently three books under my name, all belonging to the Shadows of Sylvara Series and am actively working on a fourth. I thought it would be fun to take the world of fairies and turn how we think of them on its head; from having a standing army to being six feet tall, the fairies of Greythorn are anything but your garden variety of fae.

Inspiration hits a little less often these days, as working full time and being a mother of a young child leaves me with exactly three brain cells by the end of the day. Still, I make time when I can and have been writing a bit more regularly this year. I’m trying to find my wings, so to speak.

Ann as a human

Surprise, I’m human, exciting, I know! Don’t tell the fairies. Though, come to think of it, that’s exactly what a non-human would state, isn’t it? In any case, I shall describe myself as boring and a bit of a homebody. I love coffee in the morning and water the rest of the time. I am not overly social. I play video games and I have to admit that those three brain cells I have left at the end of the day rarely get together to form any coherent thoughts, so playing something that another creative soul imparted to the world works for me. I spend as much time with my son as possible, one day he won’t prefer my company so I’m taking advantage while I can.

When that day comes, I suppose I’ll be able to write a bit more.
